This is a lovingly restored Commodore 16 computer. It works fantastically, and has several new/modern upgrades. Included:
+ Commodore 16 computer, PAL (so make sure whatever display you're using supports 50hz input, which most modern LCD do), with original case and keyboard. Keyboard works great. The system has very minor yellowing and could use a clean, but the keyboard looks nearly white and has not been ultrabrite'd.
+ The system was modded to upgrade from 16k to 64k, allowing it to run the full Plus 4/C16 library
+ All original CBM chips have heatsinks installed. The PLA was replaced with a modern FPGA based PLAnkton.
+ The old DC regulator and resistor were replaced with a modern DC regulator which reduces the overall internal temperature of the system more than 30°C while in operation
+ An A/V adapter is included which provides easy access to composite video, audio, and svideo. The resulting picture is great - see the photos.
+ A joystick adapter is included which allows you to use standard Commodore 64 joysticks instead of the annoying C264 native joysticks
+ A 264 Multicart with about 70+ games.
$355 sounds expensive, but the upgrades I added: the CF adapter was $125, the joystick adapter was $20, the sound card was $60, the EGA card was $85, the RAM upgrade was $35, flash cart was $65, and the keyboard was $65. So really, the computer is pretty cheap! ;-)
