Original Commodore 1750 RAM Expansion Unit (REU), providing 512K of expanded memory for compatible Commodore computers.

Tested on a Commodore 128. The REU was connected to the expansion port and its hardware status register at address $DF00 (57088) was read directly from BASIC using:

PRINT PEEK(57088)

The unit returned 16, confirming that the C128 can communicate with the REU controller and that the unit is being detected.

Please note that this was a basic operational/detection test rather than an exhaustive test of every RAM location in the full 512K. The unit is therefore being described as tested and detected by the computer, but I cannot guarantee that every individual memory location has been independently verified.

Includes the Commodore 1750 REU shown in the photos. Please note the parts that inserts is slightly ajar. It is not loose looks like someone maybe tried porting it apart. Does not affect working condition, please see small metal insert tabs as well for condition Please review photos for cosmetic condition.
