🚀What It Does

The Epyx Fast Load cartridge increases load speeds from the 1541 disk drive to approximately2,500 bytes per second, which is aboutfive times fasterthan standard loading.

In addition to faster loading, it includes:

• Built-inCommodore DOS Wedgefor faster disk commands

• Amachine language monitorwith disassembly, single-stepping, and relocation tools

• A basichex/ASCII disk editorfor viewing and modifying disk data

• The ability todisable the cartridge via menuif a program is incompatible

While the original 1984 Fast Load does not work with SD2IEC devices,newer variants (including this one) may support them, depending on configuration.
