Vintage Commodore VIC-20 Personal Computer with Original Box and Accessories

Original Commodore VIC-20 home computer manufactured in the United States, serial number RR 0017222. This collectible early home computer retains its original illustrated retail box and molded Styrofoam inserts.

The computer has been power tested. When connected to its original Commodore power supply and switched on, the red power indicator illuminates. A photo or video documenting the power-on test is included with the listing.

No compatible television or monitor was available. Video output, the Commodore BASIC startup screen, keyboard input, sound, software loading, and the cassette, cartridge, control, and expansion ports have not been tested. Additional operational functionality is unknown and not guaranteed.

The contents and readability of the two cassette tapes have not been verified. No RF switch box, video cable, joystick, cassette recorder, television, or other accessories are included unless specifically shown.

The computer shows age-related discoloration, light surface marks, minor dust, and normal vintage wear. The original box has visible storage wear, staining, scuffing, creases, edge and corner wear, small tears, and a large Fragile sticker.

The original packaging, documentation, USA-made label, and relatively low serial number make this an appealing display or restoration piece for a Commodore enthusiast or vintage-computing collector.
