Vintage Compaq Armada E700 laptop computer with Intel Pentium III processor.
Tested and powers on successfully. Display is working and the computer completes its startup/POST sequence and enters the Compaq setup/Intel Boot Agent screens. BIOS reports 131072 KB (128MB) of installed memory.
PLEASE NOTE: No hard drive is installed. The hard drive bay appears empty, as shown in the photos. Because there is no hard drive or operating system, no further functional testing was performed.
At startup the computer displays a “CMOS checksum invalid, default values loaded” message. This commonly indicates that the internal CMOS/RTC battery may need replacement. This is being disclosed for accuracy.
The laptop has noticeable cosmetic wear from age and use, including scratches, scuffs, marks and finish wear on the exterior. There is also a module/component protruding from the left side of the computer; please review photos carefully for its configuration and condition.
Keyboard, display and case are in the condition shown. This is a vintage computer and has not been fully tested beyond the functions described above.
Please review all photos carefully for cosmetic condition, included components and configuration. Sold as pictured.
