Custom made side panels for Yamaha Motif XF8 synthesizer. These also fit Motif XS8, but not ES8 or original Motif 8 "Classic."
Replace those boring black or gray particle board side panels that came with your synth (and that may by now be nicked and scratched up) and give your instrument a richer, warmer appearance that you'll be proud of, on stage or in the studio.These beautiful panels are fashioned from red oak and stained to bring out the natural grain of the wood then topped with a satin finish. These are 3/4" thick and flat, like the factory panels that come with the XF8. Because the XF8 has the same chassis shape as the XS8, these panels will also fit the XS8, but do not have the side beveling that the factory XS8 panels have. (We can make a thicker panel with the side beveling to match the shape of the XS8 panel if you wish, for an additional charge of $10 to cover the extra expense of making them.) These are very easy to attach--just unscrew the factory side panels and screw these on using the same screws. That's all there is to it.
These panels are MADE TO ORDER. This enables us to keep the price as low as possible by not incurring the extra expense of carrying inventory on the many different varieties of panels that we offer. Each set is made only when we receive a paid order for one, so please allow 5-6 days for them to be produced.Standard finish as shown in the pictures is Red Oak Satin, but a number of color choices and finishes are available as no cost options. (See the chart pictured.) Be sure to message us to specify which finish you would like; if no choice is made, they will be finished in Red Oak Satin.Rest assured that we will get them out to you as soon as possible, because withholds payment for them until they receive a tracking ID from us.
