This CyberPower P705G 7-Outlet Energy-Saving surge protector is an open box, like new unit. I tried it out with an A/V receiver but it did not draw enough power to keep the power strip enabled. According to reviews it works for others.

Note this is not a standard power strip, it has outlets that are switched on when current flows in the primary outlet and your device has to draw enough power to keep it enabled.
