Up for sale is an extremely rare Cyrix 5x86-100GP with a hidden 4x multiplier. Certain few 100MHz and 120MHz Cyrix 5x86 units were fabricated with 4x capability, but never labeled as such when sold. The 4x multiplier allows the chip to run at 133MHz, which allows it to outperform a 133MHz AMD X5 5x86-133 or 83MHz Pentium Overdrive PODP5V83, due to a combination of both high clock speed and 5th-generation architecture.
