DFI DIO-500 Rev. 6 — Complete 8-Bit ISA Multi I/O Card WITH Port Bracket Cable (1989)

One slot, four ports — the classic DFI multi-I/O card that gives an IBM PC, XT, AT, 286, or 386 clone everything it needs for serial, printer, and joystick connectivity.

These cards turn up bare all the time; finding one with the original-style dual-port bracket cable is the hard part, and this one has it (see photos of both plugs fitted to the card's headers).

You get all four ports:

COM1 serial — DB-9 on card bracket (16450-class UM82450 UART)

COM2 serial — DB-25 on included bracket cable (second UM82450 UART)

Parallel printer port — DB-25 on card bracket

Game/joystick port — DA-15 on included bracket cable

Genuine DFI (Diamond Flower Inc.), FCC ID E5Y6L9DIO500, Made in Taiwan, Rev. 6 board with 1988–89 date codes

8-bit ISA edge connector; works in 8-bit and 16-bit ISA slots — period-perfect for XT and 286/386 retro builds

Condition: Untested, sold as-is for parts or restoration — but this is a clean example: original QC sticker intact, straight header pins, bright gold edge fingers, no corrosion, no burnt components or damaged traces.

Bracket cable plugs fit the card headers as photographed; pinout compatibility is untested (verify pin-1 orientation before powering).
