This is a used, Dell EqualLogic PS4000XV ISCSI SAN Storage Array With 12, 600 GB SAS Drives, (7.2TB). It is a RAID capable array so the actual usable storage will be less than the 7.2TB physical total. That will be determined by the type of RAID you decide to use.
No cables or rails are included and there's no cover included. What you see is what you get.
It has space for 16 drives, but there are only 12 included. There are 16 total disc caddies, so you can add 4 more drives if you wish to.It was pulled from a working environment and has been factory reset. All the drives have been wiped and the software is version 5.0.2. You can see this in the photos. You can set it up using a serial cable and Putty or similar terminal simulator or Dell’s software pack. I was able to access it both ways, (see pics). It works, all of the drives are good, but you may need to replace the NVRAM battery.
