Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop - sold as-is.

This is a very old Windows Vista-era laptop and is not intended to be a modern everyday computer. It would be best suited for retro computing, older software, collecting, tinkering, repair, parts, or a project machine.

The laptop has been wiped/restored with a fresh installation of Windows Vista Home Basic and is currently at the initial Windows setup screen.

  • AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-53 dual-core processor - 1.7 GHz
  • Approximately 512 MB RAM
  • 60 GB Toshiba hard drive
  • 15.4" display
  • CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive

    • IMPORTANT: Charger/power adapter is NOT included. A compatible Dell charger is required to power the laptop.

    What I have personally confirmed:

    • Powers on with a compatible charger
    • Screen works
    • Trackpad works
    • Hard drive is detected
    • Boots into Windows Vista Home Basic setup

    I have not tested every function, including every keyboard key, port, Wi-Fi, speakers, optical drive, battery runtime, etc., so full functionality is not guaranteed.

    Because of its age, limited testing, and lack of charger, this laptop is being sold as-is.

    Cosmetically it shows normal wear from age and use. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.

    This is an older computer with very limited usefulness by modern standards. Best suited for someone specifically looking for Vista-era hardware, retro software/gaming, parts, or a project rather than a primary computer.
