Used, good physical condition, no damaged ports.
Minor wear and tear, scratches and scuffs from normal use.
Powers up and boots to a fresh install of Windows XP Professional 32-Bit with all drivers loaded.
Stress-tested with 3DMark 2001 SE, stable.
Unit has been wiped down inside and out.
Optical drive has been tested and working.
New thermal paste applied to processor, Arctic MX-4.
LCD display is in good condition with no noticeable damages.
Display shell has plastic damage at both hinges, but hinges still function normally, see pics.
Main battery works and holds a charge, but unknown for how long. Not guaranteed.
CMOS battery is a soldered-in rechargeable that has been replaced with a new replaceable, relocated coin cell. BIOS settings, date/time, etc remain intact after power-off and when main battery is removed.
Modem has been unplugged to make room under the door cover for the new CMOS battery. Modem is still included but relocated to the empty WiFi card slot location and secured inside. This laptop originally did not ship with WiFi card.
