I plugged the computer in for the first time in many years a few days ago. The "battery needs to be replaced" message popped up soon after (see photo). However, it accepted a charge, and seemed to charge fully that night. Two days later, I turned it on and got the same message. I charged it while I reset to the factory specs then powered it off.

The spec photos were taken before the factory reset.

There's some minor scruffs on the outside, and some wear in the area around the mousepad, but in pretty solid shape overall. Nothing major cosmetically at all. It's sat safely in a closet for a long time.

I'm listing as/is for parts/repair because it appears the battery is shot. And I figured someone who knows more about computers than me could use it for something.
