Up for sale is a genuine Dell PowerVault LTO-5 external half-height tape drive. This is an enterprise-grade backup unit manufactured by IBM for Dell.

Included Components:

• Dell LTO-5 External Tape Drive Unit

• Power Cord Included (Compatible power cable is included so you can plug it in right out of the box).

• Note: Mini-SAS data cables or data tapes are NOT included.

Testing & Operational Status:

• Power-On Self-Test (POST): The unit has been power-tested. Upon plugging it in, the internal cooling fan spins up smoothly, the mechanical loading gears cycle through their initialization loop normally, and the power button stays solid green.

• SCD Display Code "C": The single-character diagnostic display shows a bright, solid orange Code "C". According to the official Dell/IBM hardware manual, Code "C" simply indicates "Cleaning Required."

• Testing Limitations: We do not possess an LTO Universal Cleaning Cartridge to clear the maintenance code, nor do we have an LTO data tape or an external SAS host adapter card to perform further data read/write diagnostics. It has not been tested beyond powering on and observing the initialization cycle.

Cosmetic Condition:

• Good used physical condition with minor standard handling scuffs/dust from a climate-controlled server environment. Please review the high-resolution photos for exact physical details.
