Dell PowerVault MD3060e 60-Bay 3.5" SAS Storage Enclosure

Enterprise high-density 60-bay 3.5" SAS direct-attached storage enclosure. The MD3060e is a 4U rackmount disk shelf designed for large-capacity storage expansion, enterprise storage, backup, archival, and homelab applications.

Important Power Requirement

The MD3060e requires 200–240V AC power. It is not designed to operate from a standard 120V household outlet.

Please verify that your power, SAS connectivity, rack space, physical dimensions, weight, and transport setup are suitable for this enclosure before purchasing.

This is large, heavy enterprise equipment and is substantially different from a typical desktop or small NAS enclosure.

Condition

This unit is being sold UNTESTED / AS-IS and is listed as For Parts or Not Working because I have not personally powered up and tested this particular enclosure.

The unit was acquired through a surplus sale after being decommissioned from an enterprise environment.

I originally purchased it for a homelab storage project, but ultimately decided that the size and 240V power requirements were more than I wanted for my residential setup.

The enclosure is clean and in good cosmetic condition, with normal signs of prior enterprise use.

Because I have not personally tested the unit, I am not guaranteeing functionality of the chassis, EMMs, power supplies, fans, backplane, or any other internal components.
