This is the only portable device that preserves cherished slides and film negatives at 14 megapixel resolution - the highest available on models of this type - without being tethered to a computer or electrical outlet. The provided trays hold 135 mm slides or negatives (110, 126, and 135) and the touch of a button captures the image in 3-5 seconds as a JPEG. Images can be immediately previewed on the built-in 2 1/2" TFT color display and are stored on an SDHC memory card up to 32 GB (SD Card not included). Images can be transferred to a PC or Mac via the included USB cable or viewed on a TV using the included component cable. Its 14 MP CMOS sensor provides 3200 dpi resolution, automatic exposure control, and color balance, resulting in clear digital images without loss of quality.
