Important: This adapter doesnot support PCIe bifurcation; therefore, a motherboard equipped with thisfeature is required. Without it, only the NVMe-1 port will recognize the NVMeSSD. Prior to purchase, please verify your motherboard manual.
Full PCIe 5.0 x8 performance(256Gbps) necessitates that all components support PCIe 5.0, including the CPU,the motherboard’s PCIe slot, and the M.2 NVMe SSD. Note: Intel 12th Generationand earlier CPUs do not support PCIe 5.0.
Enables operating system bootingfrom M.2 NVMe SSDs – necessitating OS reinstallation and BIOS/UEFIconfiguration. Please note: Legacy motherboards may support only storagefunctionality (non-boot capabilities).
Plug-and-play support is availablefor Windows 11, 10, 8, Linux, and macOS (Windows 7 is not supported). Pleasenote that new M.2 NVMe SSDs must be initialized and formatted prior to systemrecognition.
