Historical Background
The Elektronika-60M was a Soviet 16-bitminicomputer compatible with the DEC PDP-11 architecture. Produced during the1980s, it became one of the most important computers manufactured in the USSRand was widely used in research laboratories, universities, industrialautomation, and scientific institutions.
It is also historically notable because the originalversion of Tetris was developed on an Elektronika-60 computer.
