The EnGenius EWS550AP is a Neutron series 802.11ac Wave 2 AC1300 wall plate access point. It mounts over a standard network wall box, so hotel rooms, dorms and offices get in-room Wi-Fi plus wired ports from one cable.
It provides 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz with 2x2 MU-MIMO, a three-port Gigabit switch with pass-through, and PoE/PoE+ power. It can be managed through EnGenius EWS switches and ezMaster or run standalone. Four units are available, each new and sealed.
