This printhead is brand new, in box and never used. We originally purchased this printhead as a backup for our Neoflex DTG printer, until the printer took a permanent dump. Now we’re left with a printhead we don’t need. Ships fast and very secure, thanks for looking!

The Epson DX5 water-based printhead is used by different printer manufacturers as described in the printer compatibility. The Epson DX5 (Epson fifth generation micro-piezo print head) has a native resolution of 1440 dpi, 8 nozzle lines (corresponding with 8 independent ink channels), and 180 nozzles per line.

The Epson DX5 (F187000) can be used in 4-colour or 8-colour printers and has a minimum, variable droplet size of 1.5 picolitres (max. droplet size is 21 picolitre). The typical firing frequency for the Epson DX5 Print Head is 8 kHz.

It is a new generation print head that allows fast speed, high-resolution printing with water-based dye and pigment inks. The Epson DX5 original print head is delivered in a sealed Epson package.
