This kit is to replace the ropes and pulleys in an Ergotron Workfit-S sit-stand monitor. There are a few options to choose from:
- A new cylinder pulley and 3 ropes kit (common failure)
- The tapered pulley (less commonly fails)
- The large wheel pulley (less commonly fails)
- All 3 pulleys and 3 ropes kit (everything I have!)
If the tapered or large wheel pulleys breaks, you can remove it with a punch the same way as the other pulley, but be sure to brace the arm as pictured. If you order both the tapered pulley AND the large wheel pulley, they will come with metal hardware that mates them together for additional strength.I think this is a substantial improvement to the original design!
