This is a Sharp pocket computer PC-1500A from early 1980s. It's carefully packed and ready to ship for free!
In the United States, Radio Shack rebranded this Japanese computing marvel into TRS-80 PC-2, which is functionally identical to PC-1500, the earlier version of 1500A that only had 2KB internal RAM. 1500A has 8KB internal RAM.
This computer rivaled desktop computers of its ago with both speed and functionality at a small fraction of the cost.
The unit can be used as a super scientific calculator even by today's standard. It has 12-digit precision and comes with all scientific functions such as sin, log, etc. You can also write BASIC and assembly language programs for a lot of fun activities or professional programs. There are many programs and games for it and even an emulator or two.Search SHARP PC-1500 and you can find a lot of resources about this unit.
Specifications:

• LH5801 processor operating at 1.3MHz
• 26-character LCD display, can be used as a 156*7 pixel display 65-key QWERTY keyboard speaker for generating tones real time clock
• 16K ROM BASIC, known as “Extended Pocket BASIC” 8KB RAM for slightly over 6K for BASIC programs
• 60-pin Input/Output Interface Connector for connecting peripherals such as the included printer and cassette interface dock plug-in slot for memory expansion, with a 16K module installed.

Here's what works:

• The short video demonstrates the main unit, its total RAM, the BASIC program I wrote to check if a number is prime.
• The main unit looks very nice, works like new. I cleaned the inside of the unit and found no rusts. LCD display is flawless. Any slight scratch is just the cover but not on the LCD.
• All keys on the keyboard work. Many used units have the "ENTER" worn down but this one is in great condition.
• The speaker works. It makes "modem noise" when loading and saving programs with the cassette interface (cassette interface not included, just used to test the connector of the main unit).
• 8KB internal RAM for BASIC programs.
• I wrote a short BASIC program to demonstrate it works
• 60-pin Input/Output Interface Connector works.
• Loading programs through this interface does take a lot of effort to get working (fair warning).
• The main unit battery compartment has no sign of corrosion or oxidation.

Here's what you need to know:

• This unit had some missing screws. It was opened before and the "impact protection foam" was removed.When I serviced it, I noticed the missing screws and used a donor unit to replenish its missing screws. I put in new screws for the keyboard PCB.The battery compartment screw isn't original but works just fine.See inside photo. Board is in very good condition.
• There are small scratches around the unit but are cosmetic. See photos.
