Tested and working Great Valley Products GVP 68030 accelerator for the Commodore Amiga 2000, equipped with a Motorola MC68030RC33B 33 MHz processor, Motorola 68882 math coprocessor and 4 MB Fast RAM.
This accelerator was recently removed from a working Commodore Amiga 2000 in which it was being actively used. It was tested in the actual system prior to removal, and photographs from that testing are included in the listing.
This is an unusually complete example, accompanied by itsoriginal GVP 68030 Accelerator User’s Guide, original GVP installation disk and original FAAASTROM User’s Guide.

The board retains its original GVP configuration and identification labels. The original GVP options label identifies the configuration as030/25/882/4M. The processor currently installed on the board is clearly markedMC68030RC33B, indicating the present 33 MHz CPU. Both the original label and installed processor are clearly shown in the photographs.
Tested in a Working Amiga 2000
This accelerator was installed and operating in a working Commodore Amiga 2000 immediately prior to removal.
The listing includes photographs taken during actual testing of the card in that machine. The Amiga successfully booted and operated with the accelerator installed, recognizedGVP FAAASTROM, and reported the additional Fast RAM.
Because these photographs were taken directly from a CRT display, some screen information is partially obscured by refresh/shutter banding. They are included to document the actual card operating in the Amiga rather than as screenshots or stock images.
The accelerator was removed from the system after testing and has been stored in an anti-static bag.

These are the original period GVP materials accompanying the accelerator, making this a considerably more complete package than a loose accelerator card.
The original installation floppy is included. Because magnetic media of this age can deteriorate with time,the vintage floppy disk itself is not guaranteed.
Condition
The accelerator is in very nice overall physical condition for its age.
The board, edge connector, processor, coprocessor, installed memory and components are shown extensively in the listing photographs. The board retains period configuration labels, inspection markings and handwritten identification markings. These have intentionally been left intact.

A Complete GVP A2000 Accelerator Package
GVP accelerators have become increasingly difficult to find complete with their original supporting materials. This package combines atested working accelerator, 33 MHz 68030 processor, 68882 math coprocessor, 4 MB Fast RAM, original installation software, original accelerator manual and original FAAASTROM manual.
For someone restoring or upgrading an Amiga 2000, this provides a particularly nice period-correct GVP accelerator package without the uncertainty that comes with an undocumented or untested loose board.
Everything included with the sale is shown in the listing photographs. The Commodore Amiga 2000 and monitor shown in the testing photographs are not included.
