Manufactured in 1996; tested and works great. Case is in very good condition with some signsof wear on the plastic base and some small marks on the metal case. PC speaker is loud and clear. Both the 3.5” and the 5.25” floppy driveshave been tested to read and write standard 1.44MB and 1.2MB floppy disksrespectively. The CD-ROM was replacedwith a newer model that reads both pressed and burned CDs without issue. RAM has been upgraded to 48MB (2x 8MB 72 pinSIMMs, 2x 16MB 72 pin SIMMs). A WesternDigital Caviar 32500 2.5GB hard drive is installed, which has been formattedand loaded with Windows ‘98SE Plus with all drivers installed. An S3 Trio64V+ PCI video card (2MB) isinstalled and allows for resolutions up to 1280x1024 and up to 32-bit colordepth. A Creative SoundBlaster 16 soundcard has been added with drivers installed.A Realtek 8169 PCI network card is installed as well and functionscorrectly. A combination USB/Firewire(1394) card has been installed, which allows the use of USB peripheralsincluding flash drives and firewire/1394 devices. The CR2032 BIOS battery has been replaced andall BIOS settings are maintained when the system is powered off. Both serial ports and the parallel port havebeen tested and function correctly. Includes a Gateway 2000 keyboard, Microsoft PS-2 mouse, andstandard power cord. Pictured LCD isused for testing only and is not included.Features:
