Laptop has a clean install of Windows 98 SE using copies of the Gateway factory restore media (discs not included in sale), which includes all hardware drivers installed. This laptop has had limited testing performed by way of installing the software, the known defects are as follows: The hinges are somewhat sloppy but still hold the display in place, and the CPU fan is noisy but quiets down some as the machine gets warmer, and the battery does not hold a charge (but runs just fine using the charger). Cosmetically, it has the usual surface wear of a laptop that is 25+ years old.

Please understand that these old laptops are made with plastic that is often brittle. Buyer should be prepared to be cautious and gentle with the machine to avoid damage.
