This sale is for a used Gigabyte Aorus 15G XC gaming laptop running Windows 11 Pro. The system has an nVidia RTX 3070 laptop GPU with 8 GB video memory. It has an Intel I7-10870H CPU running at a base frequency of 2.20 GHz (8 cores/16 threads), 32 GB of memory, and a 4 TB SSD (and room for a second, if you want to expand it), giving you plenty of room for loading your games or running a self-hosted AI agent. According to Windows, the SSD has 99% expected life left, but I have to apologize for not getting a screenshot of this information.
I purchased this laptop release-week in January 2021, and have upgraded the storage(from 1TB to 4 TB) and memory (from 16 GB to 32 GB) since then. I replaced the battery earlier this year, so as you can see from the provided photos, the battery still takes a full charge. I love this laptop, but the one problem I've had with it is it runs hot, no matter what I do unless I use it on the cooling pad I'm including with the laptop. I replaced the internal cooling fans just 4 months ago, but the GPU still runs 90+Celsius when not cooled by the cooling pad. Running the system on the cooling pad, however, drops temps 20-30 degrees, and keep thermal throttling from kicking in.
Why am I selling a laptop that I love? Well, I have more computers than I have space for right now. I've had the good fortune in life to be able to buy tech pretty much when I feel the need, and now I'm working to trim my inventory. I have another similarly specced laptop that I'm keeping for my gaming system, and a completely different laptop that I use as my Linux/non-gaming system.
The last thing I have to say about the system is that I have cleaned it, but as you can see from the photos of the top shell, I used to have lots of stickers on the system. I have removed them all, but some remains of my "I voted" sticker are still there (visible in the photos above), and you can see the outline of several other now-removed stickers. I used Goo Gone to clean most of the sticky residue, but cosmetically it is still clear that there were a number of stickers attached at one point.
