The HPE StoreEver MSL LTO-7 Ultrium SAS Tape Drive is an enterprise tape storage drive designed for compatible HPE StoreEver MSL tape library environments.
LTO-7 Ultrium technology provides up to 6TB native capacity per LTO-7 cartridge and up to 15TB compressed capacity based on a 2.5:1 compression ratio, making it well suited for enterprise backup, archival and long-term data retention applications.
This drive uses a SAS interface and is supplied as the HPE StoreEver MSL tape-drive module shown in the listing photographs.
