Vintage IBM PCjr Model 4860 computer system with original IBM packaging, wireless keyboard, manual, and power supply. This system comes from the historic inventory of ABC Resellers, my late father’s Texas-based computer sales and repair business specializing in vintage computers, legacy hardware, components, software, and related technology from the 1980s through the mid-2010s.

Item Source / Provenance:
This item was acquired from ABC Resellers inventory originally maintained by my late father. He operated a long-running Texas-based computer sales and repair business specializing in vintage computer systems, legacy hardware, components, software, and related technology. This inventory remained stored as part of the original business holdings and is now being carefully documented and liquidated.
Power-On Observation:
The system was briefly tested using the original power supply. The computer powers on, the power indicator illuminates, startup beeps are heard, and the 5.25-inch floppy drive activity light responds during startup. No further functional testing was performed. Video output, keyboard operation, floppy drive operation, and software loading have not been tested.
Condition Notes:
• Original IBM box shows vintage storage wear and moisture-related staining from age.
• Original Styrofoam inserts are included and remain intact. Localized blue/green discoloration is present and shown clearly in photos.
• The original IBM wireless keyboard is included. The battery compartment contains heavy blue-green alkaline battery corrosion from the original batteries. Corrosion is visible on the battery contacts and adjacent internal area. The metal contact tabs remain present and structurally intact. Keyboard functionality has not been tested.
• The computer casing is marked with a 1983 copyright date, which is shown in the photos.
• The original IBM box includes an “IBM Employee Sale” marking, adding an interesting piece of history to this vintage system.
