Many PicoPSU clone units vary internally. Testing showed standard ATX pin 16 PS_ON switching to be the most reliable startup method.
Components RequiredBuilder must source all components.Typical VoltBus Rev 1 build require:- PicoPSU or compatible DC-ATX module 24 pin
- 24-pin ATX PCB header/socket
- SPDT ON-ON rocker switch
- Original IBM PCjr switch may be used
- Compatible replacement switches may also be used
- 4-pin LP4 disk drive Molex connector 90 or straight ( can be swapped from pcjr original power supply)
- 3-pin 2.54mm fan header (can be swaped from pcjr original power supply)
- Wire for PS_ON jumper if using alternate ATX pin 16 startup methodRecommended:- 12V regulated DC supply
- 8A minimum
- 10A preferred for expanded systems
