This classic IBM ThinkPad has been powered on and tested. It successfully boots into DOS, the IBM setup utility is accessible, and the color LCD, keyboard and TrackPoint are operational during testing.
For additional real-world testing, the original SimCity was installed and successfully launched and played/navigated on the laptop, as shown in the photos.

The computer boots to the C:\ DOS prompt. During startup, a message appears stating “Error Initializing Adapter / Driver Not Installed” related to a loaded device/IDE manager. This did not prevent the computer from booting or running SimCity during our testing. Please see the startup-screen photo for the exact message.
Cosmetically, this is a vintage machine and shows normal age-related wear, marks and signs of previous use. Please review all photos carefully for exact physical condition.
