While server management functions are generally available as an add-on, the S5000VSA includes integrated platform management interface 2.0 from Intel for greater ease of use. This server board also offers increased flexibility by supporting SATA and SAS, as well as SCSI via an add-on card. The Intel® Server Chassis SC5299-E is designed to work with the S5000VSA. This cost-effective chassis adds value by simplifying integration and maintenance through tool-less features on all drives, bays, and fans.
