A quad-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter for servers, workstations, NAS and virtualization hosts. The X710-DA4 FH puts four SFP+ ports on a single PCIe 3.0 x8 card, built on Intel's 700 Series (Fortville) XL710-BM1 controller. Each port runs 10GbE over DAC or optics and 1GbE with SFP optics, with hardware offloads for SR-IOV, VXLAN / GENEVE overlays, Flow Director and DPDK packet processing.

It needs a full-height PCIe slot and does not fit low-profile chassis.
Cooling – The card uses a passive heatsink. Server chassis airflow is ideal; in a desktop or workstation, keep a case fan blowing across it.
Optics – Intel 700 Series firmware checks SFP+ module coding. Intel-coded or Intel-compatible transceivers / DAC cables are recommended.
Slot – Needs a PCIe x8 or x16 slot for full bandwidth across all four ports. It works in x4 slots at reduced throughput. Shipping Ships from South Korea by EMS (Korea Post) with tracking.
