Compatibility and requirements

Juniper MX240, MX480 and MX960 routers require Junos OS Release 10.1 or later.

Juniper MX2010 and MX2020 routers require Junos OS Release 12.3 or later.

XFP optical transceivers are required to bring up any port and are not included.

This is a line card only. A supported MX Series chassis with power and cooling is required.
