Offered is a scarce vintage Kingston Technology memory-expansion assembly designed for certain IBM ThinkPad computers from the mid-1990s.

The assembly consists of a proprietary Kingston adapter or carrier board fitted with two removable memory modules:

• Two Kingston KTM-755/D16-CE modules
• 16MB indicated capacity per module
• 32MB apparent total installed memory
• Kingston KTM-2151/CE adapter board
• Adapter-board number 1647-001.A00
• Module-board number 1658-001.A00
• Original Kingston retail clamshell packaging included

The individual modules contain Samsung memory chips marked KM44C4100CS-L6 along with additional controller or parity chips. This is a specialized laptop memory system and is not conventional desktop SIMM or modern SO-DIMM memory.
