LG 29UM58-P Ultrawide monitor
It started doing this weird thing recently, so I want to basically give this away as long as you're willing to pay shipping.
It's hard to capture this on video or picture, which is why I don't have anything here, but the problem is that it just doesn't seem to display the right resolution. I've tried restarting, factory reset, swapping HDMI cables, HDMI ports, and I've tested with Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, and MacOS. All operating systems detect the right resolution and report that the display is using the right resolution, but visibly the image is at about half quality. Even weirder, if you go to change the color settings on the on-screen display menu for the monitor, it will show the picture clearly for a split second when you actually change the color profile, before promptly going back to the broken image.
So the display itself is clearly fine (it shows the right resolution for a split second with the color profile thing), but something seems to be messed up with... possibly the firmware? I don't know, and I don't have the tools to figure it out. But I'm sure somebody else can figure it out. Maybe it's you! I just want to get rid of it without wasting it, so I'm listing it here for $1, hopefully you can figure it out.
I will NOT be accepting returns due to the fact that I have given fair warning here that the item does not work as intended.
