• Fitted a 512GB Intel NVMe SSD with its thermal pad — the pad is the part most often left off, and it matters for sustained speed. It reports 95% health.
• Wiped. The drive is new to this machine and Windows was installed fresh, so nothing of any previous owner remains.
• Clean Windows 11 Pro. Installed from clean media and activated, then taken to the desktop to confirm it works. It arrives at the first-time setup screen so the first account created on it is yours. No bloatware, no accounts of ours.
• Measured the wear parts rather than estimating them: battery 82% of design at 41 cycles, drive 95% health. Those exact figures are above.

Cosmetic condition

Very Good — light handling wear for a workstation from 2019, and nothing that affects how it works. The photos are of the exact machine you will receive, shot close up rather than at a flattering angle.

What to know before you buy

The battery: 82% of design capacity after 41 cycles. That is what the battery controller reports, not a rounded-up estimate. 41 cycles is very light use for a machine of this age.

The Quadro T1000 is a workstation graphics card, certified for CAD and design software, with 4GB of its own memory.

Memory: 16GB on one stick, three slots free. As fitted it runs in single-channel. Adding a matching 16GB stick takes it to 32GB in dual-channel, and the four slots take up to 128GB in total.

The charger is included, and it is the right one. The P53 needs a 170W slim-tip charger (the rectangular plug), and a genuine Lenovo one is in the box. If you ever need a spare, Lenovo’s 230W slim-tip also works; a smaller 65W or 90W charger will not power it properly.

In the box

The laptop and a genuine Lenovo 170W slim-tip charger. No original box, no manuals, no dock.
