A 15-inch business machine with a quad-core i7 and 16GB of memory. Very good overall condition, with a few cosmetic exceptions called out below rather than hidden in the photos.

• Drive and memory fitted by us. A 256GB NVMe SSD went in with a thermal pad, and we added 8GB of DDR4 to the open SO-DIMM slot to bring it to 16GB. The drive is not new and reports 70% of its rated endurance remaining — see below. Whatever the previous owner had is gone, because the drive is.
• Clean Windows 11 Pro. Installed fresh, activated and updated, then taken to the desktop to confirm it works. It arrives at the out-of-box setup screen so the first account created on it is yours. No bloatware, no accounts of ours.
• Tested. Powered on and checked: display, keyboard, trackpad and trackpoint, every port, wifi, Bluetooth, camera, audio, and battery health.

Cosmetic condition

Very good overall, with light wear and tear consistent with normal business use. Two things to know: a small crack near the number pad, and a small hole in the chassis. Both are photographed close up rather than hidden at an angle. Outside of those two spots, the hinges are firm, the chassis does not flex, and the screen is clear with no dead pixels. The photos are of the exact machine you will receive.

What to know before you buy

Small crack near the number pad, and a small hole in the chassis. Both are cosmetic, not structural — the keyboard, trackpad and chassis rigidity are unaffected and the unit tests fully functional. We would rather flag exactly where they are than have you find them yourself.

The battery is original, at 141 cycles. It holds 84% of its design capacity, which is solid for its age but not new. You can check it yourself in thirty seconds with any battery reporting tool.

The SSD is used, at 70% health. We fitted it rather than selling you the machine empty, and we would rather give you the number than let you find it. 70% still means years of ordinary use ahead of it, but it is not a new drive, and if you intend to hammer it with video work or VMs you should budget for one eventually.

No charger is included. This model charges over USB-C Power Delivery, not a proprietary Lenovo tip, so any 65W USB-C PD charger will run it — including the one from most modern laptops and tablets. We have priced the machine accordingly rather than charging you for a brick you probably already own.
