Can read and write DVD's and CDs, runs on sata power and a sata connector. It can be installed inside of a desktop PC or externally as needed.
It was salvaged from a PC I was given, but didn't run. I have enough extra DVD/CD drives as it is! There was a little bit of oxidation on the outside/ top of the device. I used a solvent and some brushes to clean it off. The issues were only cosmetic and would not be visible once installed in a tower.
