Important Compatibility Notes
Smartpen Memory Rule: Livescribe pens track notebooks by their volume numbers. Your smartpen can dynamically store up to eight distinct journals simultaneously (No. 1 through No. 8). You should not write in a new Journal No. 1 if your pen still holds active data from a previous Journal No. 1, or the data may overlap.
Archiving: Once a volume is completely filled, you must archive it through your digital desktop or mobile application before starting an identical volume number.
