MSM2128-20RS chip pulled from Commodore 128D motherboard. U.S. seller. The socket which this chip was pulled from is designated as U103. This chip was in a socket when we removed it but it looks like this particular chip had (at one time) been desoldered because the legs appear to have some slight residual solder on them (see photo of the bottom side of the chip). Some legs are slightly bent. No broken legs. The board this chip was pulled from came to us from a major corporation in Pennsylvania which apparently contracted with Commodore to refurbish their hardware on a large scale. We have never used or tested the (apparently factory refurbished) New Refurbished Old Stock (NROS) motherboard which this chip was pulled from. It has been in storage for 15 years or more. However, we did receive around 100 Commodore 64c motherboards at the same time which were also supposedly refurbished and over 90% of them worked fine and have mostly been sold to happy customers. So we presume that most (if not all) of the chips on the board this chip came from are likely fine. 30-day guarantee regardless.
We ship these chips in special static-resistant chip boxes with black crisp anti-static foam to protect them.

We take note of the production date codes of all chips shipped and put little warranty stickers on the bottom of the chips which we ship in order to make sure that any returns are chips which we actually sold. Any returned chips which do not match the production date codes or which have missing or damaged warranty stickers will not be refunded.
