The genuine Moxa UPort 1150 bridges a modern USB port to one RS‑232, RS‑422, or RS‑485 serial device — plug & play, software-selectable, and ready for laptops or workstations that no longer carry a native COM port.

One Port. Three Standards. Zero Configuration Headaches.

The UPort 1150 is Moxa's 1-port USB-to-serial converter, letting a laptop or workstation without a built-in COM port talk to an RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 device — the interface is set entirely in software, so the same converter travels between very different field devices. It's the kind of accessory engineers keep in a laptop bag: connect legacy instrumentation, meters, dataloggers, or PLCs wherever the job takes you.

Installation is USB plug & play — no IRQ, DMA, or I/O address resources to configure. A Mini DB9-female-to-terminal-block adapter ships in the box for direct wire termination, and TxD/RxD activity LEDs give an instant read on whether data is actually moving.
