These are brand new (open box) surplus spares I purchased retail but never used.
If you are a wifi poweruser then you are likely already familiar with this model and just how versatile it is for home or small business.
For those not familiar,multiple units of this model can be used to form a mesh of Wifi access points. What makes this model particularly user-friendly to customize into a powerful wifi solution is its excellent support for alternate router operating systems (such as OpenWRT or DDWRT) that can offer enterprise features on consumer hardware.
This model is actually designed to support alternate router operating systems and offers a simple and safe way to upgrade and experiement due to its dual flash memory. This dual memory enables easy fail over to a 2nd operating system if you have any issues. (Most other devices that support OpenWRT or DDRT are typically much more complex to customize.)
Aside from cusomizabilty, these are also just a well known high performace router that can support many concurrent users or even a small office. I'm only selling as I have more spares than I need, else I would just hang on to them!See full spes in each original box:
