This is a Nortel Baystack 5510-48T 48-Port Managed Network Switch. The unit has 48 RJ-45 gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 SFP ports. All 48 RJ-45 ports were tested for link connectivity (link lights confirmed on every port). Serial, SFP, and rear cascade ports are untested. No serial console cable or SFP transceivers on hand to test with, so management/CLI access has not been verified. This unit does NOT support POE. Internal power supply, power cord included.
Rack mountable, but does NOT include rack ears/mounting brackets. Unit only, no additional accessories included.
This is a MANAGED switch. Please note this if you are specifically looking for an unmanaged switch. Good for homelabbers and anyone looking to expand their home network with 48 ports of gigabit switching.
