This compact car HUD combines an OBD2 gauge display with a GPS digital speedometer. In OBD2 mode, the unit reads supported information directly from the vehicle ECU, including speed, RPM, coolant temperature, battery voltage, fuel consumption, trip data and other available parameters.
When the vehicle does not support the required OBD2 protocol, GPS mode can still display satellite-based speed, altitude, driving direction, trip distance, driving time and related information. GPS reception may temporarily weaken in tunnels, underground parking garages or heavily covered areas and will normally recover after the vehicle returns to an open area.
Choose from 10 display interfaces and adjust the brightness, speed unit and temperature unit to suit your driving preferences. Custom alarms can provide reminders for overspeed, high engine temperature, abnormal voltage and high RPM.
The unit can also read and clear supported engine fault codes, display live data streams and perform acceleration and brake tests, making it a practical auxiliary gauge and trip computer for everyday driving.
Compatibility Notice
OBD2 mode is designed for most 2008 and newer vehicles that support OBDII or EOBD protocols. It does not support OBDI or JOBD systems. Some diesel vehicles, hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles, modified vehicles and certain vehicle models may not provide full OBD2 functionality. In these cases, GPS mode may still be used.
The specific parameters displayed in OBD2 mode depend on the information made available by the vehicle ECU.
