This listing is for an OWC ThunderBay IV external RAID drive containing four matching Toshiba 3 TB DT01ACA300 drives for 12 TB total storage. All four drives have 0 reallocated sectors and 0 I/O errors -- 100% healthy (see SoftRaid report in pictures). Formatted as a single striped 12 TB HFS+ volume for optimal performance, but can be formatted for Mac or Windows, and configured for multiple RAID levels to achieve higher reliability and redundancy.
This drive has a ThunderBolt 2 interface which can be adapted to USB-C using an Apple adapter. Please inquire if you need the ThunderBolt 2 cable and/or Apple USB-C adapter. I am using one of these RAID systems with my 2025 Mac Mini and it works flawlessly.
I offer a no-hassle 30-day satisfaction guarantee and free shipping. Items must be returned in the same condition as received.
