We’ve noticed some customers have trouble removing the foam adhesive backing. Here are a few tips:

For a smooth removal of the backing, please start peeling from the center of one edge, pulling gently along the adhesive’s centerline. If a small tear occurs, gently lift the backing to catch and remove any remaining pieces, helping to ensure a clean removal in one go. If the backing tears from pulling too quickly, simply start from the other end and follow these steps.
