The Optimus Signature V3 Pro block offers the same great thermal and flow performance as our REV2 model, but with a more cost efficient design. The Cerakoted brass top is replaced with an anodized aluminum cover, that offers the same rigidity while not making contact with the flow path. An acetal top slots into the aluminum cover and offers a surface that is highly resistant to corrosion. There is also no concern of thread cracking over prolonged use with acetal. The Signature V3 Pro AMD block has the same cold plate and insert design as the REV2, so no performance is lost. WHY SO GOOD? Performance is relatively simple to explain: surface area + flow rate + contact = performance. By having the highest possible surface area directly above the dies, and then increasing the flow rate through the new Signature jet system, plus a highly-specific contact mounting system for AM5, the Optimus Signature V3 Pro is able to remove heat at a faster rate than competing designs. BENCHMARKING EXPLAINED The Signature Pro block's performance was designed and callibrated in a very strict testing setup, allowing for repeatable results. Using a lab-grade liquid temperature regulator with Prime 95 using locked parameters allows for very accurate and isolated testing of block thermal performance.
