DescriptionCompatible models: SHARP and data can be sent and received by connecting the PocketComputer to a PC.
It is used by connecting the 11-pin serial port of Pocket PC to the USB port of PC.
USB type equivalent to genuine SHARP CE-T800.
Supports hardware flow control.
Includes a 1.5m USB A to MicroUSB cable. (Changed from Mini-B on 5/29/2021)

A driver must be installed on the PC side. The serial port can be seen as a virtual serial port from the PC, so serial port compatible software can be used without modification.

Uses a USB-to-serial conversion chip manufactured by FTDI.
The driver on the PC side supports WindowsXP-10, Mac, WindowsCE(ARM,x86), and Linux.
Please download the corresponding driver from here. A CD containing all drivers is also available.

A brief instruction manual on how to send and receive files is included. No special software is required on the Pocket PC side. Terminal software (Tera Term, Hyper Terminal included with Windows, etc.) is required on the PC side.
Note that HyperTerminal has a problem with garbled characters.
