Galvanic isolation of up to 500V between the CAN signals and the host-PC is achieved with the help of an integrated DC/DC converter. The CAN is connected via a 9-pin SUB-D plug according to CiA standard recommendation DS 102-1. The LED integrated in the housing shows the operating state of the PCAN-USB adapter.
