Professional Panasonic PT-DZ10KU 10,000-lumen DLP projector, offered AS-IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR due to a known dual-lamp operating issue described below.
This is a substantial professional installation/event projector removed from a university environment with a very good overall cosmetic appearance. The projector powers on, displays an image, accepts HDMI input, and produces a bright, clear picture.
We performed extensive testing and documented the projector's operation with multiple test patterns as well as HDMI video. A DEMONSTRATION VIDEO is included with the listing showing the projector operating and displaying video.
BRAND-NEW OEM PANASONIC LAMP INCLUDED
This projector includes a BRAND-NEW OEM Panasonic lamp that we purchased specifically for this unit.
The new lamp had ZERO HOURS when we installed it in the projector. The approximately 4 hours currently shown on Lamp 1 represents the testing we performed after installation.
This is not simply a used lamp transferred from another projector. We purchased the lamp brand new, installed it in this projector, tested it, and it is included with the sale.
The second lamp is also an OEM Panasonic lamp and currently shows approximately 1,195 hours.
That new OEM lamp alone represents a significant value to a buyer repairing or restoring one of these projectors.
IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING
Lamp Testing
We tested the lamps individually in both Lamp 1 and Lamp 2 positions.
- The new OEM lamp operated successfully by itself in Lamp 1.
- The new OEM lamp also operated successfully by itself in Lamp 2.
- The other OEM lamp operated successfully by itself in Lamp 1.
- The other OEM lamp also operated successfully by itself in Lamp 2.
- Each lamp was able to run for extended periods when operated individually.
The problem occurs when the projector is operated with BOTH lamps simultaneously in DUAL LAMP mode.
When dual-lamp operation is enabled, the projector operates normally initially. After approximately 5–10 minutes, Lamp 1 goes offline and the projector displays a lamp warning (see last photo).
Based on our testing, the problem does not appear to follow either individual lamp, since both lamps successfully operate independently in either lamp position.
We are therefore selling the projector AS-IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR because we have identified this dual-lamp operating issue. We have not attempted to diagnose or repair the underlying cause, and we cannot guarantee that there are no other issues that were not discovered during our testing.

COSMETIC CONDITION
The projector is in very good overall cosmetic condition for a professional installation projector of this age.
There are some light scratches and normal signs of previous use, particularly on the exterior housing. One of the small inserts/cups in the projector's adjustable feet is missing. The remaining feet are present.
Please examine all photographs for the most accurate representation of the cosmetic condition.
SHIPPING / PACKING
This is a large, heavy professional projector and will be carefully and securely packed for shipment using appropriate protective materials.
Both OEM Panasonic lamp assemblies will be removed from the projector and securely packaged separately for shipment to help protect the lamps from damage during transit. The buyer will need to reinstall the lamp assemblies before operating the projector.
Due to the value and size of this equipment, the shipment will be insured for its full sale value and will require a signature upon delivery.
We take extra care when shipping professional electronics and will package the projector appropriately to protect it during transit.
Serial numbers and identifying marks are recorded for verification. The equipment may also be discreetly marked.
